Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking an Options School Evaluator to lead and participate in charter, contract, and Alternative Learning Opportunities Program (ALOP) renewal evaluations and site visits. The role uses CPS-aligned rubrics to collect data, analyze instructional quality, school leadership, and climate, synthesizing findings into comprehensive Site Visit Reports.

The position collaborates with cross-functional teams, contributing to renewal decisions and district-wide strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certificate/PEL with endorsement in Math, Science, Literacy or Social Sciences.
• ISBE Teacher Evaluator Qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits using standardized rubrics to assess instructional quality and leadership.
• Lead and co-lead academic reviews during site visits and support the team during evaluative components.
• Synthesize qualitative/quantitative data into reports informing renewal decisions.
• Define and deliver professional development for school leaders and teams.
