Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred; vocational roofing training preferred.
• Experience with roofing technology, repairs and maintenance is beneficial.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes duties as a construction technician focused on maintenance and commercial roofing.
• Maintains and repairs all types of roofs throughout the District and seals leaks around rooftop equipment.
• Responds to emergency roof leaks or roof-related problems.
• Keeps accurate records of material use and time spent on jobs.
• Provides status reports and ensures work orders and tickets are properly filled.
• Reports problems to the foreman and maintains all crew equipment and trucks.
• Fulfills additional duties as assigned to support efficient operations.
