Job summary

American Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a Roofing Service Technician to maintain and repair various roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. You will also assist with installations, inspect roofs, and address leaks using the appropriate materials and tools.

The role requires strong physical condition, balance, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and accuracy in every job. Prior roofing experience is preferred; license is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Roofing or construction-related license (preferred but not required).
• Proven experience in roofing or related construction work.
• Proficiency in using various roofing tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair roofing systems to ensure longevity and functionality.
• Provide a dry and efficient environment for buildings and homes.
• Inspect roof structures and determine repairs or maintenance.
• Estimate labor costs, materials, and time required for each job.
• Communicate estimates and repair details with clients.
• Assemble, cut, and measure materials to fit around vents, edges, chimneys, etc.
• Replace and repair damaged or deteriorated roof areas.
• Ensure roofing work is waterproof and withstands various weather conditions.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete projects efficiently and within established timelines.
