Job summary

HES is seeking a Light Maintenance Technician to support the school district’s facilities in Asheboro, North Carolina. This role covers multiple sites within the district, performing small repairs, plumbing tasks, painting, and replacing lights as needed.

Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour and offers room for growth within the company. The ideal candidate will follow safety policies and work with the Facilities Operations team to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience with small repairs, plumbing, painting and lighting replacement.
• Ability to cover multiple locations within a school district.
• Familiarity with building safety policies and DRB inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outside vendors when necessary.
• Obtain materials from warehouse to complete tasks.
• Secure supplies or equipment and notify the proper person of needs.
• Observe and report unusual or emergency situations to Facilities Manager.
• Suggest improvements to methods and procedures.
• Collaborate with other trades in Facilities Maintenance.
