Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring for a full-time Food Unit Lead at Inspire Nola Charter Schools in New Orleans, LA. The role coordinates activities of other food-service staff and oversees the preparation and service of meals. Monday through Friday schedule; hours may vary. Fixed pay rate of $13.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to oversee food preparation and service to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Oversees and participates in preparation and service of food and beverage items per standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Handles daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory, payroll and time-keeping.
