Compass Group USA is seeking a Food Unit Lead for a full-time role at 2620 Conti Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Prior K-12 food service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages per company standards.
• Trains employees and assigns work to promote efficiency and excellence.
• Manages schedules, reports, payroll and time-keeping.
• Ensures proper cash handling per Food Accounting Manual.
• Orders food and supplies from approved sources.
• Directs sanitation and safety of the facility and staff.
