Job summary

Elior School Dining is seeking a motivated General Manager for K-12 school dining accounts in Arkansas & Louisiana. You will lead a multi-site food service operation, supervise a team of associates, and ensure meals for students, faculty and clients are served with excellence.

Responsibilities include budgeting, procurement, ensuring compliance with culinary, safety and sanitation standards, and collaboration with district management to meet target outcomes, while delivering outstanding client

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience coordinating food service operations in multiple units.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and develop a team of associates, including hiring and training.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and ensuring the account meets all targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with the district manager or other departments regarding the technical and administrative aspects of dining service.
