Job summary

Elior School Dining is seeking a motivated Food Service Director for the Ft. Lauderdale area to lead a school dining team at Charter School USA locations. You will manage the department and staff to ensure high-quality meals for students, faculty and clients.

This role requires coordination of operations, budgeting, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards, with opportunities for growth within Elior North America. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Florida region.

Qualifications

• At least three years coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department, including direct purchasing of ingredients and meeting targets.
• Coordinate with district manager or other departments regarding dining service.
