Elior School Dining is seeking a motivated food service director to lead a team of dining professionals across school units. The role oversees all aspects of a school dining program, ensuring meals are served efficiently to students and staff while maintaining high standards.

The position emphasizes team leadership, operations coordination, and a focus on client satisfaction, with responsibilities spanning budgeting and compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department, including purchasing ingredients and meeting targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager or other departments on dining service aspects.
