Job summary

Lenoir County Public Schools' E.B. Frink Middle School in La Grange, NC seeks a School Data Manager for a 12-month assignment starting 08/11/2026.

The role acts as the liaison between school administration and the LEA Coordinator, handling the electronic student database and federal, state, and local reporting. Responsibilities include maintaining student records, attendance, master schedules, reporting (PMR, SAR, etc.), and providing technical support to the database.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Community College Degree or Business Curriculum
• Thorough knowledge of office practices
• Knowledge to operate a computer and run computer programs
• General knowledge of spreadsheets and file maintenance
• Ability to plan and organize work activities
• Coordinating skills to schedule student classes and maintain records

Responsibilities

• Maintain student records in the electronic database (enrollments, demographics, attendance, etc.)
• Prepare and maintain attendance records and send absence letters as required
• Prepare and reconcile reports (PMR, SAR, etc.) and local/state/federal reports
• Establish master school schedules and run schedule changes
• Assist scheduling and resolve conflicts; prepare for year-end transitions
• Provide technical support for the electronic student database
• Set up and maintain school-based user accounts
• Generate and distribute academic reports (report cards, transcripts)
