Job summary

Oakwood City School District is seeking a dependable Custodian to join our facilities team on swing/second shift. You will perform routine cleaning, maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, and support light maintenance to keep our buildings safe and welcoming for students and staff.

You will set up and clean up for school events, identify safety concerns, and work cooperatively with staff and other maintenance team members.

Qualifications

• Dependable and responsible.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to perform physical duties associated with custodial work.
• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout the building.
• Maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Assist with light maintenance and building upkeep.
• Set up and clean up for school activities and events.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Work cooperatively with staff and other members of the maintenance team.
