ABM Industries is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties at a K-12, college, or university campus. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and shared spaces, following safety procedures, and coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned area, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices and stairs.
• Sweep, debris removal, mop floors in designated areas and manage spills.
• Regularly check and empty trash receptacles as needed.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Notify lead cleaner or manager for repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain communication with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, and managers.
