Job summary

Rockingham County Middle in Reidsville, NC, is seeking a part-time Custodian I to perform custodial and light groundskeeping duties in its school facilities. Qualifications

• Some experience in custodial work or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license issued by the State of North Carolina.
• Designation as Category “A” under Rockingham County Schools Policy 7241, including drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floor surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies; clean windows, walls, and fixtures.
• Dust desks and furniture; empty trash and manage recyclables.
• Polish sidewalks and grounds, remove debris, and apply de-icing materials when needed.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and assist with minor maintenance.
