West Stokes High in King, North Carolina is hiring a full-time Custodian to maintain school facilities. The role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and furniture, plus groundskeeping duties and minor maintenance tasks.

The position includes 8-hour shifts, 12 months, and benefits, with reporting to the Principal. A valid NC driver’s license is required; the role follows a Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace policy.

Formación

• Some experience in custodial work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, strips, waxes and buffs floor surfaces.
• Cleans restroom areas and replenishes paper supplies and soap as necessary.
• Cleans windows, walls, woodwork, blinds and light fixtures.
• Dusts and cleans desks and other furniture.
• Empties trash receptacles; deposits recyclable material in proper receptacles.
• Polices grounds, shovels snow, and applies de-icing compounds as necessary.
• Replaces burned-out light bulbs.
• Prepares requisition forms to obtain necessary supplies for coming workweek.
