Job summary

BRICK Networks seeks a School Custodian to maintain a clean, safe environment in Newark-area facilities. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance tasks, ensuring classrooms and common areas are prepared for daily activities and events.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and teamwork with the Operations Team. Competitive benefits and a 12-month employment period are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and basic cleaning knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and offices to BENs standards.
• Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash disposal and disinfecting surfaces.
• Assist with minor repairs, inventory, and coordination with Operations.
• Respond to requests from staff and ensure secure entry points after hours.
