ABM Industries seeks a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties across K-12 and higher education campuses. You will clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas to maintain a safe, healthy environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices and stairways.
• Sweep, mop floors, remove debris and clean spills in designated areas.
• Regularly empty trash and manage recycling in all areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Notify lead cleaner or manager about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers and supervisors.
• Clean interior surfaces, dust furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors and walls.
