This position is responsible for cleaning between sporting events.

Role: School Custodian

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Hours: 2-10pm (flexible)

Location: 4501 North Charles St Baltimore MD 21210

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks to meet quality and safety standards.
• Use protective gear during all cleaning functions.
• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment and supply needs or malfunctions.
• Dust and damp mop floors in classrooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and shared spaces.
• Remove trash and perform related duties.
• Respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks reliably.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required.
• Criminal background check required.
