Join to apply for the Evening Custodian role at Chimes.

This position offers a pay rate of $17.43 per hour and requires working from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, including weekends.

Job Summary: Perform cleaning and building services in various areas, including public and work spaces.

Essential Functions:

• Follow all policies, procedures, and contract specifications.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dress code standards.
• Clean and disinfect assigned areas, restrooms, and surfaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Assist with special restoration work and move/arrange heavy items.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures, including security access protocols at BWI.
• Attend work regularly, arrive on time, and participate in training and meetings.

Secondary Functions:

• Assist with inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Perform floor refinishing and carpet shampooing as needed.
• Support with event setups and exterior snow/ice removal.

Physical Abilities:

• Stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in dusty or adverse weather conditions.

Job Competencies:

• Work independently, follow directions, and report issues.
• Use equipment properly and notice workspace changes.
• Maintain a positive, respectful attitude and comply with policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months custodial experience preferred; training desired.
