ABM is seeking a Custodial Account Manager to supervise custodial staff, uphold cleanliness and safety in school facilities, and lead operational tasks with a focus on quality. The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, and standards enforcement.

The position requires a strong leadership style, attention to detail, and practical experience with cleaning operations and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• 5+ years custodial/janitorial, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Experience with custodial management software and tools.
• Valid driver’s license and screenings for ABM and client.
• CCT or CMI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate frontline staff performance and scope.
• Assign cleaning tasks and monitor standards.
• Inspect buildings and facilities regularly.
• Provide training on cleaning procedures and safety.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Payroll adherence for frontline staff.
• Assist Custodial Manager with related tasks.
• Prepare reports on staff performance, maintenance issues, and cleaning schedules.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules for daily, weekly, and periodic tasks.
• Coordinate support for events, emergencies, and seasonal projects.
• Respond to custodial emergencies and high-demand periods.
• Operate cleaning equipment and assist during shortages.
