• FBI Criminal Background Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides counseling services to students with emotional or behavioral components in their IEPs.
• Provides career-counseling services as needed and appropriate.
• Promotes social skills, behavior management, and coping mechanisms.
• Participates in development and implementation of IEPs.
• Organizes and conducts staff in-service training on behavior management and related topics.
• Communicates with staff and parents regarding student social and emotional issues.
• Maintains daily documentation of services and adheres to schedules.
• Reports neglect or abuse to local CYS agency.
