Job summary

Universal Health Services' LifeWorks School in Media, PA is hiring a School Counselor for the 2026-2027 academic year. The school serves students in elementary to high school facing social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges and provides an individualized curriculum with evidence-based supports.

The counselor will provide daily group counseling, offer supportive guidance, write monthly reports, and help teachers understand emotional issues affecting classroom performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification required.
• Master's Degree in Professional and School Counseling preferred.
• LPC credential preferred.

The LifeWorks School in Media, PA is hiring an energetic, collaborative, and experienced School Counselor for our school in Media, PA for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.

The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in elementary, middle, and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification required.
• Master's Degree in Professional and School Counseling from accredited college or university preferred.
• Clinically supervised education/training in individual, group and family therapy with LPC credential preferred.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
• Two years experience in a special education school or a school working with adolescents exhibitingemotional and behavioral issues is preferred.
