Job summary

Universal Health Services, a leading healthcare system, is seeking a School Counselor to provide group counseling to students, focusing on emotional health and skill-building within a specialized education setting.

You will write monthly reports, support teachers in understanding student emotional issues, and collaborate with staff to promote student success. A Bachelor’s in School Counseling and LPC credentials are preferred; a Master’s is favored.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification required.
  • Master’s Degree in Professional and School Counseling preferred.
  • Clinically supervised education/training in individual, group and family therapy with LPC credential preferred.
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
  • Two years experience in a special education school or a school working with adolescents exhibiting emotional and behavioral issues is preferred.
