Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a School Counselor for The LifeWorks School in Media, PA for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year. The counselor will provide daily group counseling, guidance for students, and maintain monthly reports to support emotional and educational outcomes.

The LifeWorks Schools provide specialized therapeutic education for students with social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification.
• Master’s Degree in Professional and School Counseling preferred.
• LPC credential preferred.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
• Two years experience in a special education school.

The LifeWorks School in Media, PA is hiring an energetic, collaborative, and experienced School Counselor for our school in Media, PA for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.

The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in elementary, middle, and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. LifeWorks comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes.
