Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a qualified school counselor to support students in a special education setting. The role emphasizes skill enhancement, emotional health, and daily group counseling.

The counselor will document monthly reports, provide guidance to teachers on emotional issues affecting classroom performance, and collaborate with staff to promote student success across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in School or Professional Counseling with certification required.
• Master’s Degree in Professional and School Counseling preferred.
• Clinically supervised education/training in individual, group and family therapy with LPC credential preferred.
• Two years experience in a special education school or a school working with adolescents exhibiting emotional and behavioral issues is preferred.
