Job summary

The Community Liaison assists administrators, counselors, Student Prevention Intervention and Behavior Intervention Specialist in determining the need for and coordinating partnerships with the community to meet the social service needs of the school. Promotes staff and student awareness of the campus and community social service resources.

It requires organizing workshops, maintaining data on programs, and ensuring compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; college coursework preferred; and one year of experience with at-risk youth.
• Fluency in language of the target population is preferred.
• Arizona driver's license is required.
• Maricopa County food handler's card is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to connect parents, staff, and students to resources and community referrals.
• Maintain databases of engagement supports and intervention programs to ensure policy compliance.
• Create and maintain a database of community partnerships and volunteers with documentation.
• Coordinate campus groups and interventions with trained facilitators.
• Organize workshops and training for parents, staff, and students on programs and services.
• Gather evaluation information to monitor program success and prepare monthly reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues and records; interact professionally with the public.
