Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in instructional technology, marketing, visual communications, multimedia, design, related field or the equivalent.
• 3 years of experience as a graphic designer or related position, working with both print and online channels.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and related software.
• HTML, WordPress and social media platforms knowledge.
• Print, web and broadcast design understanding.
• Strong communication, writing, editorial judgment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment, independently or with a team.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro, After Effects and motion graphics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs creative elements to capture the culture and spirit of the school.
• Captures major events through photography and video.
• Develops and maintains the school's website and social media sites.
• Creates and organizes print media to inform parents and community members.
• Establishes a school-based newsletter for parents, partners and community members.
• Provides progress reports on projects as required.
• Participates in meetings and school functions and other duties as assigned.
• On-site attendance during regular business hours.
