Job summary

Christian Heritage School is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to manage the school's digital presence across the website, app, social media, and email newsletters. You will write, edit, design, and publish content while ensuring brand consistency and an engaging user experience for prospective families, students, alumni, and the community.

You will collaborate with Advancement and lead initiatives from content strategy to analytics, maintaining a cohesive CHS voice across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in both creative development and technical execution.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience managing website content through a CMS.
• Understanding of basic website structure, UX/UI principles, and responsive design.
• Ability to develop basic wireframes and page layouts.
• Experience managing social media content and editorial calendars.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update day-to-day CHS website content and functionality.
• Identify outdated or unclear content and propose improvements.
• Plan new pages, landing pages, sections, and navigation.
• Develop page structures, wireframes, and user pathways.
• Write, edit, build, and publish content in the CMS.
• Ensure content is accurate, visually appealing, and brand-aligned.
• Monitor analytics and use data to improve content and UX.
• Coordinate with external vendors for advanced development.
