Job summary

Community Council Learning Academy in Philadelphia is seeking a Manager of School Climate and Culture to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment. You will oversee behavior systems, incident management, staff supervision, and culture-building initiatives, ensuring consistency in behavior expectations and data-driven decisions.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in education or school leadership, with experience in PowerSchool and PBIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 60 college credits in education, psychology, social work, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in education, behavior management, or school leadership.
• Experience with PowerSchool or similar student information systems and with behavior tracking systems like Kickboard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all behavior-related incidents and ensure accurate entry of incidents, suspensions, and interventions into PowerSchool.
• Monitor incident reports for trends and ensure proper follow-up and documentation.
• Collaborate with administrators and support teams to ensure restorative practices and interventions are applied.
• Coordinate and manage bus behavior and communicate with transportation staff and families as needed.
• Lead climate and culture initiatives, PBIS, and school-wide activities.
• Work with counselors, social workers, and special education teams to align behavioral support with student needs.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation and participate in leadership meetings.
