Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other food service staff to prepare items on time for meals and satellite deliveries.
• Review production records and secure ingredients, items, and equipment needed.
• Prepare simple items, wash and cut produce, and assist with dietary accommodations.
• Portion and pack meals for satellite feeding.
• Set up serving counters, serve students and staff, and restock supplies.
• Clean cookware and kitchen areas, and ensure sanitary conditions.
• Label, store, and dispose of leftovers properly.
• Receive provisions, document temperatures, report discrepancies, and assist with inventory.
• Supervise student helpers in the kitchen.
• Attend staff trainings and meet USDA required hours.
