Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a dedicated cafeteria assistant to support daily food preparation, line setup, and student service at our Phoenix campuses. You will work as part of a team to prepare meals, keep work areas clean, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Food Handlers Card. Travel between campuses may be required, and the position offers competitive pay and benefits in a supportive school

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• Previous experience in food preparation and handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine food tasks, such as cutting fruits and vegetables and making sandwiches.
• Set up and stock work areas with ingredients and equipment.
• Assist with daily cleaning duties in the cafeteria, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
• Serve students and staff in a cheerful and helpful manner.
• Ensure meals on the serving line meet federal guidelines.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Maintain HACCP temperature and storage logs.
