Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Maricopa County Food Handler's Card at time of hire.
• ServSafe Manager's Certificate within 90 days of employment.
• Active Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or obtained within first 90 workdays.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and supplies for breakfast and lunch services.
• Assists with cooking menu items and records temperatures.
• Sets up student and faculty cafeterias; ensures serving lines and utensils are ready; cleans after meals.
• Handles cash transactions and counts money for deposits at end of day.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dining and kitchen areas.
• Assists part-time Cafeteria Workers as needed.
• Assists with planning and ordering for menu items.
