Nicholas County Board of Education is seeking a Food Service Manager to direct the school nutrition program, planning and overseeing meals for students and staff under the NCBOE salary schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, state exams, and background checks, with preferred cafeteria management experience. This on-site position includes benefits and a 200-day contract under WV regulations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED per WV Code §18A-2-5.
• Must pass the state prescribed exam per WV Code §18A-4-8e.
• Criminal background check per WV Code §18-5-15c.
• Maintains current County Board of Health Food Service Worker's Permit.
• Experience as a cafeteria manager preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the operation of the school food service program, including assigning duties and managing inventories.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain records for NSLP and related programs.
• Place orders for meals and oversee kitchen operations.
• Ensure safe handling of food, sanitation, and a pleasant dining environment.
