Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Food Manager (CFM) required.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and appliances used in food preparation.
• Knowledge of food handler safety.
• Ability to manage personnel and supervise staff.
• Experience: 2+ years in institutional food service operations.
• 20% or more travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop work schedules and assign tasks to campus nutrition workers.
• Ensure meals are served on time and customers receive quality service.
• Adhere to Schools, local, state and federal regulations, sanitation, and nutrition guidelines.
• Prepare production reports and manage inventory and recipes.
• Lead food safety training and enforce cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with principal on schedule changes and staff issues.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
