Wake County Public School System seeks a CNS Assistant Manager to supervise cafeteria operations, assist meal production, and ensure accurate records. This role offers leadership in the CNS Manager's absence and coordination with school staff.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, ServSafe within 90 days, and strong customer service and math skills. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, at a school site in Wake County.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child nutrition laws, policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
• Strong time management skills with accuracy for records.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and serves meals, salads and a la-carte items per standardized recipes and documents food prep accurately.
• Acts as cashier using a computerized POS system to record sales and maintain accurate records of cash handling.
• Assists in deposits and may deliver bank deposits as needed.
• Provides leadership and manages the cafeteria in the CNS Manager's absence.
• Completes records, inventories and vending procedures as required.
• Keeps kitchen, equipment and utensils clean per sanitation codes and schedules.
• Communicates effectively with students, parents and school staff.
