Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a versatile Food Service Lead to support a high-need campus kitchen. You will cover all kitchen positions, supervise the Food Service Team, and ensure food safety, inventory, and customer service standards are met across daily operations.

The role demands strong leadership, attention to HACCP procedures, and the ability to interact professionally with students, families, and school staff. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Four years of food handling service/preparation or cashiering experience required.
• Two years of lead/supervisor experience required.
• Food Handlers Card required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multifaceted role covering kitchen positions (food service worker, cook, cashier, manager).
• Lead day-to-day activities of the campus Food Service Team and coordinate opening/closing tasks.
• Prepare, serve, replenish food and drinks; monitor temperatures and HACCP procedures.
• Ensure food safety, inventory management, and customer service expectations are met.
• Maintain courteous relationships with students, staff and parents; enforce policies and safety guidelines.
