Job summary

Granbury To Be Determined in Granbury, TX seeks an Assistant Cafeteria Manager to support daily kitchen operations, food production records, inventory, and end-of-day deposits. You may lead the kitchen in the Cafeteria Manager's absence and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, food handler certification, and 2 years in school food service or related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Food Handler Certification must be obtained.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and methods used in food preparation.
• Knowledge of computer/cash register operation and district procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as work leader in the kitchen during daily food preparation, assisting wherever needed.
• Ensure food is produced safely and is of high quality according to policies and procedures.
• Assist Cafeteria Manager in completing end of day paperwork and deposit.
• Attend meetings as designated by the Child Nutrition Director.
• Provide customers with a positive experience and have strong customer service skills.
