Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• General Experience: Experience in preparing and cooking food; ability to follow recipes and prepare meals meeting meal service times.
• Specialized Experience: Quantity cooking in large-scale operations including schools or institutions.
• Non-Qualifying Experience: Experience limited to serving, cleaning, or washing dishes not qualifying for quantity cooking.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates food preparation to meet meal service times and satellite schedules.
• Reviews production records and plans cooking time, ingredients and equipment accordingly.
• Prepares and cooks a variety of foods and assembles and serves meals for students and staff.
• Maintains sanitation and stores leftovers, documents production and assists in training staff.
