Opaa! Food Management, Inc. in Massachusetts, Holden, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions.

The role covers all kitchen positions and emphasizes food safety and hospitality. You will set up serving lines, follow recipes, operate basic equipment, maintain clean work areas, and help with inventory and meal presentations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one-month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60 pounds; willingness to perform varied kitchen duties.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence and follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines and ensure correct food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate equipment (slicer, mixer, oven) with proper certification as required.
• Keep areas clean, organized and FIFO inventory practices in place.
• Assist in dishwashing area and restock as needed; maintain food safety logs.
