Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is hiring for a kitchen assistant to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions.

The role covers all kitchen positions, with emphasis on food safety, recipe adherence, and high-quality presentation. You will work across serving lines, prep areas, and storage, ensuring proper temperatures, FIFO practices, and clean facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Follow HACCP and safety procedures; maintain logs and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and recipes; batch cook and prep ahead for next day.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; practice FIFO to manage inventory.
• Present baked goods attractively and serve with hospitality.
• Maintain dishwashing area and monitor chemical usage and safety logs.
• Follow timekeeping procedures and assist with daily administrative tasks.
