Job summary

The Diocese of Harrisburg seeks a Cafeteria Worker to prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors. You will follow recipes, ensure food safety, and help maintain a welcoming dining environment across the cafeteria and serving lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in quantity food service preferred.
• Knowledge of Serv-Safe and health safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and procedures.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen and cafeteria areas; observe safety and sanitation rules.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cafeteria cash register as directed by the manager.
• Assist in planning food production and banquet or special event meals when required.
• Adhere to school/diocesan policies and maintain professional boundaries with students.
