Qualifications

• Valid Wyoming County Foodhandlers Permit
• Experience in institutional or commercial cooking preferred
• Able to read recipes and calculate ingredient measurements
• Functional working skill with school kitchen equipment
• Must pass WVDE cook competency test

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of work and conduct as determined by the Director of Child Nutrition and General Wellness
• Preparation of all types of food according to State and Federal guidelines
• Wash dishes, sweep and mop kitchen area, as needed
• Cleans all equipment used
• Serve food to students and staff
• Aid in taking inventory of food and supplies and restocks storage areas as food and supplies are received
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisors
