Qualifications

• Proficient in cooking and food preparation with institutional or commercial cooking background preferred.
• Should be able to read recipes and make calculations for ingredients.
• Must pass WVDE cook competency test.
• -valid Wyoming County Foodhandlers Permit required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of work and conduct as determined by the Director of Child Nutrition and General Wellness.
• Preparation of all types of food according to State and Federal guidelines.
• Wash dishes, sweep and mop kitchen area, as needed.
• Cleans all equipment used.
• Serve food to students and staff.
• Aid in taking inventory of food and supplies and restock storage areas as food and supplies are received.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
