Job summary

Fair Grove R-X District is seeking a Food Service Cook to support daily cafeteria operations in Fair Grove, Missouri. You will prepare meals according to recipes, serve students and staff, and ensure proper sanitation and HACCP compliance throughout kitchen activities.

The role is full-time and requires English communication, the ability to lift up to 51 pounds, and physical stamina in hot environments. Starting date is immediate with TB testing and standard district requirements.

Qualifications

• Current TB test is required and up-to-date.
• Ability to read & communicate in English.
• Ability to accurately count, weigh & measure.
• Ability to follow instructions & take initiative in performance of assigned tasks.
• Physical ability to walk, stoop, stand, twist & squat on a constant basis.
• Lift a minimum of 51 pounds to 33 inches occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks assigned by the cafeteria manager.
• Serve food to students and staff.
• Prepare food per recipe.
• Clean all cooking utensils appropriately.
• Effectively use equipment to prepare food as directed.
• Assist in total kitchen clean up.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
