Job summary

Powell Co School District is seeking a Substitute Cook/Baker to prepare, cook, bake and serve meals at assigned Stanton school sites. Responsibilities include food preparation, kitchen sanitation and assisting with inventory while training others as needed.

The role reports to the Food Service Director and requires the ability to lift, stand for periods and maintain high standards of hygiene and nutrition for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Basic record-keeping techniques.
• Health and safety regulations and sanitation practices for food handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site.
• Assist in other food preparation duties as directed; maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Train and provide work direction to others; monitor temperatures and ensure food safety standards.
