Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or progress toward GED as per Kentucky law.
• One year of experience in cooking and baking large quantities preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Positive attitude toward students, staff and school.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity at the school cafeteria.
• Prepare and bake rolls, breads, cakes and other baked goods; combine ingredients.
• Prepare and cook meat dishes, vegetables and other main dishes; prepare salads and sandwiches.
• Monitor temperatures and maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Train and provide work direction to others as directed by the manager/ASM.
