Job summary

Wake County Public School System seeks a food service worker to prepare, cook and serve meals and snacks in the school cafeteria, including entrees, salads and side dishes, following standardized recipes.

You will also act as a cashier, record sales with the point-of-sale system, handle deposits, ensure accurate meal counts, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with sanitation codes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals, salads, and a la carte items following recipes.
