Northeast Technology Center is seeking a Substitute Bus Driver assigned to the Claremore Campus in Claremore, OK. This 10‑month, non‑exempt position covers mornings and afternoons with a variable schedule and wage of $33.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate and a valid CDL with air brake endorsement preferred.
• Completion of a school bus driver course is required.
• Annual health certificate with no impairments is required.
• Background checks, DOT physical, and drug screening prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus and safely transport students to and from campus.
• Perform daily bus inspections and maintain bus cleanliness.
• Maintain order in transit and follow state guidelines.
• Transport between Northeast Technology Center and partner high schools up to three times daily.
• Conduct bus evacuation drills as required by state law.
• Attend required safety training quarterly and other professional development.
• Perform additional bus or route duties as assigned by Supervisor or Superintendent.
