Job summary

Piedmont Public Schools District Wide in Piedmont, Oklahoma seeks a Substitute Bus Driver to join our transportation team. You will operate a school bus on a scheduled route, interact with students and staff, and maintain safety and discipline on board.

Required: CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and Oklahoma credentials. You will perform pre-trip inspections, keep records, attend training, and ensure buses are clean, fueled, and ready for daily use.

Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements is required.
• Credentials as required by the State of Oklahoma for school bus driving.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus or other assigned vehicle maintaining a schedule safely.
• Interact with children, parents, teachers and other employees in a safe, proper and helpful manner.
• Maintain records of student riders, accidents and safety inspections.
• Attend State SDE bus driver certification classes and online training as required.
• Inspect assigned vehicles, notifying proper authorities in case of mechanical failures.
• Maintain student discipline in accordance with District/Transportation policies.
• Report and complete all required documents for driving concerns and accidents.
