Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a Bus Assistant to support a bus driver in safely transporting children and communicating with staff and families about their needs and center activities.

Responsibilities include supervising children, loading/unloading, ensuring authorized drop-offs, and assisting in maintaining a clean, safe bus while fostering a positive, educational ride for the children.

Qualifications

• No prior education or experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bus Driver to supervise children and ensure no child is left unsupervised.
• Help load and unload children safely from the bus.
• Ensure children are entered/exited by authorized persons and buckled in.
• Maintain orderly, safe seating and carry out safety and instructional activities on the bus.
