Responsibilities

• Operates school buses per laws, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains schedules to safely transport students and staff.
• Assists students with boarding and exiting; manages safety onboard.
• Coordinates with principals and transport supervisors on issues.
• Transports students to field trips and events as needed.
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections of buses.
• Maintains bus cleanliness and reports mechanical issues.
• Notifies leadership of any defects or safety concerns.
• Ensures proper use of restraint systems and wheelchairs when required.
• Performs incident reporting and maintains records of trips and delays.
• Attends meetings and training sessions; adheres to qualifications and policies.
